Gina St. Aubin is a mother, wife, aspiring freelance writer.
Exchanging her career as a Victim’s Advocate as it was beginning, for a more poignant role in raising her children, her life splintered. Through the changes, she was given the opportunity to reclaim a passion long since forgotten…writing.
Gina shares her inspirational, humorous, and sometimes heart-wrenching journey of raising 3 children, one with special needs, in her blog General Hysteria. Writing as “Mia Hysteria”, on a laptop, in a cul-de-sac, somewhere in Colorado, she shares her stories, thoughts, frustrations and triumphs so no one person feels isolated in her own journey.
Candid about her life’s experiences, Gina’s writings will leave you surprised, laughing, reminiscing. Though much of Gina St. Aubin’s writings include reflections on experiences as a parent of a special needs child, motherhood, and a woman’s identity, she continues to draw upon a number of experiences giving her a well-rounded view in all that she writes.
